Myths & Legends

Every country and community has their own myths and folklore. It’s one of the ways we as humans have made sense of the world throughout history. Before science made everything a little clearer, allowing us to see why things exist and happen the way they do. No matter where you go, you’ll always be able to find old folk tales warning of beasts and creatures. Whether it’s to scare kids into cleaning their teeth, or explain a natural phenomenon like lightning. You’ll also hear legends of great people and exciting, unique stories! Find the myths and legends of various countries here, or send us a message if you’d like us to research and write about a specific place or time.

Who's writing the content

I’m Katja – I write all our mythology content. I’m a junior content strategist, but I studied literature and the ancient mythology of Greece, Rome, and Egypt in uni. It’s a hobby, but one I enjoy very much and intend to grow through this blog. This way, I get to learn while I research and write! Ideal. So if you want to learn more about a specific place, I’d love to help. Get in contact or comment on the blog, and I’ll do my best!
